Beware of knight transportation!

Tell me how much they pay for layover,detention etc!
I just sat for two days as freight is slow at my location.
Marten transport payed me $400.

I did a pushup once. It was not a rewarding experience.

 

I would do pushups but its been slow long my bones start to crack from the strain.

 

That's simply not true.

It is actually possible to make way more than 60k working 5 days.

try 100 then go up from there when you do that try some squats, lunges, no real reason you can't find time for them. I see overweight people can't see their toes makes you wonder how long ago they seen there other things like when they go bathroom can they see it or they gotta guess its there lol

I disagree always made decent money detention too after two hours but then again I had a great driver manager who was a former driver actually gave a crap about there drivers. I sit at the shipper more than two hours he gives the money I don't even have to ask. I worked at the sister company though and a driver manager whos good to a driver can make all the difference.

$700 net isn't bad for 5 days "work". That's assuming you are fighting the 11 hour and not the 14 hour clock every day and doing mostly drop and hook and actually have 2 full days off.

 

Completely depends on your terminal and how long you’re out. In theory you earn 1 day for every week out, but some driver managers will try to mess up your home time constantly. The load is always more important than you.

Detention is after two hours as long as you’re on time (it’s hit or miss on whether you get it if they have to reschedule for something like weather or a major crash shutting down the interstate. I think it’s $12 an hour. And you’ll get it after a couple weeks once it gets approved.

Layover pay...good luck. I think it’s 75$ a day if you can get it approved. And you better stay on top of your dm to make sure he sends it.

And breakdown is the biggest joke. 75$ a day. And God forbid you get stuck I’m Phoenix because you’ll be there a week minimum. And double check that you’re getting ALL your breakdown pay because again, they try to short you. And you can’t even have that sent in until you’re dispatched on your next load after you’re fixed. So, depending on the time of the week you may get it the following check or the one after that. If they are feeling super cheeky it’ll be the one after that.

 

Swift’s break down pay is 50$ Might as well be a starbucks gift card

 

I would be calmed down in a breakdown situation with the promise of Starbucks easier than $50.
