I saw one tip over sitting still. He'd backed out on what turned out to be fresh fill on one side and the road gave way underneath him. Nobody hurt but the whole truck was bent out of shape.
    Congrats on the new job.

You'll take that mixer places you'd think a big truck would never go. Lot's of places have steep slopes, like stand on the brakes and slide down, stand on brakes and have to make turn lol.

I had 2 days left, and there was a low rise going up in Scottsdale with a basement like that, Incredibly steep, and you had to make a right hand turn in the middle. Like if you didn't make it, catastrophe. They made them change the approach when one of the children cried.

I had a fuel pump go out on an old 359 manual mid pour that took two wreckers about 3 hours to drag out lmfao.

That happened here too lol. Trucks just roll. You don’t even have to be a bad driver to do it.

One guy here parked on ice and then slid sideways hit a curb and over it went. Another guy got cut off carrying 12 yards, swerved so he didn’t kill her and rolled the truck instead and he was only going 20mph.

    And thanks!

See I think it’s fun going wild places but it’s not for everyone.

Those steep ramps down SUCK or going up one so steep you have to leave your bridge master down or else you’ll wheelie up it and can’t steer.

Imagine the days before pumps and all the trucks were 6x6 wheelers.

The company I drove mixer for was very responsible and safety oriented. They went over five years with no accidents or incidents and then they rolled four trucks in two weeks.
    You just never know.

Apparently my company has 3x national average for ready mix injuries.

Now they are getting cameras so all the unsafe job sites will magically get better...

That was my que to leave...

We had cameras. There were two drivers that were 20+ year men, that were the most outstanding drivers / people you would ever want to know, terminated for phone use. Even Bluetooth was verbotten.
