Roehl advertises on their site that you can work 14 days out and be home for 7 days. I just want to know from drivers who have taken them up on that offer if it is truly real. Does that 14 days out turn into 15,16 or 17 days before you can finally head home? How legit is this offer? Thanks!
Q for Roehl drivers and the 14/7 hometime

I dont work there now, but when I left last year, they were very good about getting you home on scheduled day, and did not ask you to launch out early from home. Sometimes you would get to home terminal a day early and they would want you to do local crap at under minimum pay rates. I refused, and thats eventually why I left.
Trucker Kev Paid Tourist, CorsairFanboy and brettw77777 Thank this. -

It is real..and u do get home ontime quite regularly because u slip seat and there is another driver waiting for the truck
-
Just keep in mind you arent paid during the 7 days off

Slip seat so you get to roll around in another drivers butt juices and find boogers rolling around on the steering wheel..no thanks. Oh yea, enjoy those driver facing cameras!
FlaSwampRat, jtaran06, CorsairFanboy and 1 other person Thank this. -
On this fleet I believe 3 drivers slip seat between 2 trucks. Roehl has always been good about me getting home on time. I know some of the guys I've talked to may have to keep the truck running a few extra days in the event the other person cant leave on time

slip seating should only exist local. Imagine dealing with dealing with taking your stuff out of the truck every 2 weeks?
