Hello everyone. Where the Florida o/o . I’m getting my truck on Friday. And Monday or maybe Saturday if dmv is open I’m going to register it. The dealer is giving the temp paper plate. I do have a company I’m going to sign on to. I’m not sure how long it takes for them to mail me the plates . My question is can I still work inside the state of Florida with temp plates
Need advice Florida

The DMV can't do commercial registrations. You'll need to find the nearest IRP office to you. There's one in the Clearwater st. Pete area.

Does Florida wave the sales tax if the truck is to be used primarily out of the state like Michigan does ?
-
Do you know if they give me the plates the same day or mail them
-
I could not get them to do it

If you register irp, there is no sales tax, but some states try to charge it anyway, New Mexico used to try for one.
I know you can't load a trailer with dealer plates legally, pretty sure it is the same with truck plates. -
You can get the plates the same day.
you need to call and get the packet and make sure you have everything with you and you have to go wait in line early in the morning.
When I went most people did not have everything and had to come back a second day.singlescrewshaker and Rayfigz24 Thank this. -
