TMC trucks for sale

So I'm looking at used trucks recently and came across TMC's ad for their trucks. I look them up online and they have a lot of them. The 379 looks like it may be perfect as I would want something that I could haul gas with. Short wheel base, light, still able to handle OTR if need be.

My question is, as I have sent an email request but not received an answer yet, does anyone know about how much they are asking for these trucks? Most are 3-4 y/o, 400,000+ miles, but set up rather well. I really don't want to call them and get into some long discussion with a sales person. I'm not anywhere near ready to buy a truck. But I am coming into some money in the near future and if the price is right I would love to be O/O again.

The 05's 389 are starting at 41,000 and the 387 are starting at 48,000. They also have some 06's just resently added to the blackandchromesales web site. I too am looking to purchase one of their vehicle's.

OK I found a dealer that has obvious old 2006 TMC 379's for 43,900. The dealer is an independent from Springfield, Mo. So I am guessing getting them from TMC would be cheaper. Dealer states truck is stamped under 17,000 lbs!!

They will probably be asking about the same price but should be able to negotiate down more directly with tmc. If you contact te dealer they will be able to tell you if they came from TMC or not. Most will if not not i wouldn't deal with them anyway.

They are TMC trucks. Same specs, frame length, everything right down to the bug shield. TMC would definitely wheel and deal better than an independent dealer would. I have time though. Expecting a settlement from a car accident last year. That won't happen for a few months at least. I was just curious. I don't like being back OTR and not owning the truck. And I will never do a fleece/purchase deal.

Yep i am currently working things out to buy my own rig also. Tell you what as picky as TMC is those are probably some of the best used trucks you could get ahold of. I have not talked to them because it will probably be another year or so before i am able to buy but when i'm ready i'm definately gonna talk to them first about their trucks. Good Luck Biscuit

Good luck to you too bigcountry. I been down this road twice, so nothing new to me. Circumstances in the early spring of 2007 led me to getting rid of my truck. The bank actually had a buyer for it and I made $3000 over pay off so I took it. Kinda regret it, but it was good I wasn't O/O when I had my accident. Now I have all sorts of leads on people to sign with. Go figure...

Yeah well i have never been down that road yet. i drove company for 5 years came off the road to start a family and have now beenback on the road for about 5 years. I can't wait to do it but the wife is finishing school right getting here medical degree so once shes done and has a good job with insurance then i' gonna jump in with both feet. Good thing is it gives me time to save and be prepared while waiting for her to finish so it ain't a bad thing. Just getting anxtious.

If I may offer my advice. Definitely save save save now! I would not buy another truck, especially a used one, unless I can put a big chunk of change down. On top of that, a minimum of $10,000 in the bank on the day you hit the road. It would make things so much easier than being behind to start. I personally like to have as much on my own as possible in the way of base plates, insurance, paying my 2290 myself, etc. The less I am attached to a company the better.
