My trainer only worked a half day today so we only had two loads of diesel.
I am getting the hang of it pretty well so far. I am glad that it is a full 4 weeks of training so I will be very confident when I start on my own.motocross25 Thanks this. -
I’m going to go out on a limb and say you are not regretting parting ways with your linehaul gig. Glad to hear things are going well, sounds interesting.

The customers are different enough to give variety so you don't get bored. You stand around and watch as much as you drive.motocross25 Thanks this.

Nights (Although I preferred it) weekends and holidays is gonna get real old real fast. Linehaul around me pays better with half the risk and aggravation. Best of luck.

I was going to be on the extra board for years.....on call 24/7 not knowing if or when I was going to work. I was running nights. I will be working Sunday through Thursday, 4pm to 4 am if you work the whole shift. I will not make as much as Yrc, but close enough. I can deal with the hours because I know when I will work. Trucking is great because it gives you options!cryoking, Woodys, Suspect Zero and 2 others Thank this.
