There's a Time and a Place for Immigrants- And this Profession is NOT the Place-
Rates Keep Dropping because they keep coming- Highways are overcrowded with their non-CB using volvos and plastiliners...

They Don't Communicate with us- They Don't show any kind of professional Image by what they wear.

Customers Keep Dropping rates in the Spot Market Due to them hitting our roads daily.

Interesting. Of course I don’t believe you “killed” anyone over this profession, in fact I’m not sure what that even means. Of course I’m assuming there’s a major age gap between you and I, which could explain my lack of knowledge of your expressions.

I’m American born, but I wasn’t born a trucker nor into a trucker family.

I’m a millennial who lives in California, but don’t mistake that for me being a liberal. I’m as conservative as they come, I’m anti big government (which we have) I’m anti government handouts, which I view as the government reaching into my pocket, taking my hard earned money and handing it out to those who don’t want to work for it. And THATS why I don’t have a problem with immigrants working as truckers, because at least they are working for it, just like I am.

To each their own I guess, stay safe... and quit killing people.

The minute the term "1099" comes up, the words out of a driver's mouth should be, "BYE". "1099" is a big, big red flag waving at someone applying for a company position. Common sense should tell a person, you cannot be a company driver and an independent contractor at the same time.

 

I won't even get into the issues that someone seems to have here. I just can't.

Yes, people do go overseas to do trucking and plumbing and a multitude of other jobs. They get paid a LOT to do it also, no clue why someone thinks we aren't going overseas to do jobs that could be given to their local demographic.

Yeah it’s like they have never heard of major corporations with offices around the world transferring employees from the US to another country.

Heck the oil industry has a lot of US citizens working in the Middle East.

All these super truckers driving their old hoods that get 5mpg on a good day complaining about others being able to drive for less. Of course they can drive for a cheaper rate when they’re spending less money on fuel.
