Why would you want to move to the USA. There has to be something that is not doing well in your life to want to change Countries permanently.

It's rare. Usually it's people going TO Canada.

Go to the border and claim asylum. Tell them you are wanting to escape the idiot we have for a PM. I've been tempted to ask the border guys if that would fly. Alternative is to book a holiday to Mexico and return via the Rio Grande.

Tell her that I am originally a Texan and I said it would be ok.
I had a salvage yard in Texas for a couple of years and had a Canadian customer, he spent half the time down there then Back to BC.
I knew the one guy that worked on the slope, so it is possible.
I also knew some austrailians that came every year, but they could only work 6 months at a time, then had to go back.

I am thinking it may be a choice between a 6 month at a time deal, or marying some old gal. I still have connections in Texas if you decide to go with the gal. Tell your gal, I will hook you up with an ugly one, not to worry.

A Canadian coming this way, eh? Welcome aboard. Always room for one more. Southern trucking, where all the shiny trucks are and chains are for securing loads, not tires. Be advised, it's not all Shangrila, You got 100 degree days and 80 degree dew points, bugs that will dent the grill, rain so hard, you think Mother Nature is trying to flush that area, and the people, they may not be up to what you are used to, like the sharp people in Canada, some backward places in the south. Other than that, enjoy! Don't cut all your ties back home, just in case, you know.

    Lepton1 and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
