The good, the bad, the completely stupid

There's an in every crowd. This post is completely uncalled for.

 

It did come across like you thought you had it all figured out. The typical "I'll work harder, not get tickets, not turn down loads, so I'll succeed" attitude. That is the reason the likes of CR England and Covenant have a constant supply of new drivers to prey on.

Like someone wrote in another thread it is the reason casinos stay in business. You walk into a casino despite seeing several sad faced people who lost a small fortune walking out. Yet you still think you'll be "the one" who will walk out a winner. Can it be done? Sure but the odds are highly against you.

 

I really for the life of me, can't understand some of you people. Can you please explain to me, what the hell is wrong with coming into this business with a positive attitude? Would you rather him come on here and say "i'll screw up as much as possible, i'll wreck every truck I climb into, i'll get so many tickets it'll make your head spin, and last but not least, I WILL NOT SUCCEED! You knock a guy down for wanting to succeed and you knock a rookie down for making mistakes and coming on here asking for help...I don't get it.

I completely see where you are coming from but that was not what I meant.

I was referring to new drivers picking these dirtbag companies and then getting screwed over.

Do the best job you can for a decent outfit not the likes of CR England or Covenant They are simply not worth a driver's time, experienced or green.

Bottom line people who have no experience or very limited experience are not in the position to pass judgement on those of us that have millions of miles under our belts, as far as not being rosey, its not. Its a job you have to work hard at it, with long hours and if you think people here treat you bad wait till you drive thru Las Vegas, NV with your radio on and hear rude dawg, or one them go off on yo for bring food and clothes to there familys. It not rude its just plainly spoken between drivers, most do not have the time not to speak plainly. If you want to be a trucker great good luck more power to you but you can count on anything I tell you to be the dead truth. Like it or not but the truth.

 

I cannot roll my eyes enough at that post.
