    Hello,

I am not really comfortible with using forums but I'm going to try. I just turn 21 and want to get my cdl. My family thinks I'm crazy and gives me no support. I know it's the perfect job for me, I love driving all the time through good and bad weather and I can not stand always being in the same place. I'm thinking of getting my permit myself or going to TDA in sacramento. I can be a little shy and with no support I am worried about calling the place for more help. I have been talking to a coworker who use to drive and he has been real helpful just not sure what to do next.

Hey and Howdy Camaro! Welcome to the forum. First things first, you came to the right place, so now all you need to do is read some threads about what everyone else has gone thru to get started so you can avoid some of the more common mistakes. OH and we all make some, so don't worry to much. Just try and take things slow and easy for a while as this is just not the best time to get into the industry. Good Luck and keep your head up!
