1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

The “no micro manage” requirement. What would be micro managing?
I’m not being sarcastic, just wondering a bit more detail on what is and isn’t micro managing.

Nice trucks definitely giving them a call in the morning to find out more. Never heard of 'PC Miler miles' before thought how does that work?

I was a DM for a bit and we had Qualcomms for the ld and load info etc etc, the planner would send the driver and me the load info, but immediately get on my ### to call them to confirm it. One it take time to get there Qualcomms are slow pos and let's say it already got there, how is the driver going to confirm something they haven't had time to look at? The one line I always refused to cross (and never did) was call during the 10 hr or 34hr, people need their rest especially when they're a driver.

Thanks Meta for the explanation. I agree, drivers “off” time is their time for sure.
Not sure what the rules are for forums; I already got spanked for my first post ever on a forum, so I’ll end it with that. Stay tuned for our “want ad” in our local paper here in McHenry county, as well as on this forum.
