I see a lot of posts in here talking about healthy exercise and healthy diet, and how riboflavine HR22 can b more conducive to getting breast cancer for women who recently had menopause(don't bother looking that up, it's an exaggeration), but no one's talking about the importance of healthy thinking. If u don't believe in the power of words ur probably going to think this a lot of hooey, but if u do, then ur probably not surprised to hear that simply telling yourself, 'My body is full of light and totally clear,' daily, can hav as positivie an impact on u as exercising and eating the right food. However, pounding a positive affirmation into your brain doesn't work. You have to ease the message in. I always meditate and then read affirmations. In this calm, relaxed state of mind, the affirmations will sink in deeper, and b more firmly rooted in your subconscious. The affirmation book I hav, B your own best friend, has total sections related to health, relationships, money, confidence, being present, giving yourself space, each section about 15 affirmations each. Give them a try, see how powerful words can b, and that u can b your own best friend. Peace!!

Agreed! If when your day is the worst you ever had...it's good to at least find some good out of it some where and think postive!
So many people run around upset, flustered, angry, raged, and never take time to put a little good in their hearts. -
Meditation is a vital aspect of daily life and helping one to become centered and focused. In my early days of personal training I was amazed that most people never have a time or would make time during the day when they would just sit quietly(no tv or radio) and focus inward on themselves and their inner being. With all of the stressful day to day situations that we as people go through meditation and self awareness are more important than ever to ones overall health and well being. This is very important along with healthy eating and excercise for keeping yourself centered, focused and stessfree.

For anyone who has ever read Don't Sweat The Small Stuff, (forget the author) he makes a comment like, 'Most people don't think they can afford themselves enough time to sit around quietly and do nothing for 30 minutes a day, but the way I see it, u can't afford not to.' Really, I guess it's just where ur priorities r. If u got up 30 minutes earlier 1 particular day, and spent that time meditating, u would probably b in a meditative state all day, and would b able to put a positive spin on almost anything that happens to u. So. at least in my opinion, it is worth it. And as lil Daddy said, it's also very good for ur physical and mental health.
