The area affected has extended upriver to Dauphin County, where Harrisburg is. I don't know if it's moved farther or not, I suspect that it will.
I'll ask some local family next weekend. This would be Selinsgrove, Sunbury, and Lewisburg areas. Family has reported seeing them around Columbia and Lancaster.homeskillet, Intothesunset, x1Heavy and 3 others Thank this. -
I got my permit but I didnt get that pretty decal ...feel kinda cheated .lol
Intothesunset and Tall Mike Thank this. -
Intothesunset Thanks this.

I believe if you have the tag,you should have rubbing alcohol in your truck.
At least I do.Intothesunset Thanks this. -
I live in northern Dauphin county. I've yet to see one. But, rumor has it they are aggressively enforcing it in Lancaster and Berks counties.
Intothesunset and 25(2)+2 Thank this. -
The bugs cause other issues, mainly with trees, from what I've been able to figure, the authorities say to park in the open, away from trees.x1Heavy, bzinger, Intothesunset and 1 other person Thank this. -
They’ve quit the decals. Piece of paper only now

Think I got that in my permit book. Never was told anything about it. Think even Shaffer did the same thing. Why would you put something in there without telling the driver what's it for?
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
In the old days DOT inspection used to carry a stroke of fear when they ask, let's see this, that or other permits and such. ? Oh you don't know? Give me that container. Aha, this driver is such a such, that driver is such a such and over here is the other...
Today's DOT seem to have a much simplified process and less for teaching. That is strictly a observation. That would not be the time and place to reveal that you know nothing about that little pile of permits and such.
We can go back even further to the bingo cards. Little bitty critters for everywhere you went. And sometimes nothing for where you aint supposed to be. Yet. Fun times.
I suppose everything will be assimilated into a simple "BIP" for everything your truck has approaching a scale house now and into the future by wireless and computer. If you aint got the right "Bip" well... tsk.FlaSwampRat and bzinger Thank this.
