Yeah whatever it is it's not good at all. From what I hear they're turning over drivers like a mega. Rates are terrible and a lot of the agents don't seem to be pursuing freight.

Ya. Definitely not good. Looking at Ace Doran website they are a rigging company? You primarily haul it's own equipment around to job sites and such or what? I looked at the load board they have online it doesn't look like they have much freight posted...

They haul flatbed freight, all over, but they do have quite a few mills as clients.

My buddy and I live in Chicagoland, and I can tell you, at least in the Midwest, (MN, Wi, IL, IA, MI, IN, KY, MO , OH) we have zero problems getting freight and making money (a far cry from his situation at Mercer where he could not get decent loads 250 around Chicagoland!!!!!!) ....I could not believe it when he told me several times (thought he was exaggerating or being too picky)....

Their Loadboard shows a fraction of the freight available (leftovers, frankly, they’ll be the first to tell you.....the agents have the best freight.

Ace hauls anything that can go on a flat, conestoga, step, RGN ....etc ......a lot of oversized and specialized stuff......we also have access to Bennett’s agents........in any case, just know that, while it’s not 2018 freightwise, the situation at Mercer seems to be artificially bad.....

So you pick all the loads you do or pretty much take what is offered to you? What's a typical deadhead to your next load? Paid same day or weekly? I notice the website says health insurance available is that workmans comp or actual health insurance plan?

Paid daily(when you deliver), deadhead (again, around the Midwest where I run) is seldom over 100 miles, and you run wherever, whenever and for whatever you deem appropriate....

You work with whatever agents float your boat and as far or near to home as you want....

There is workman’s comp, health insurance I get through my wife so, can’t help you there....

What percentage of loads are tarped versus no tarp? Not even sure but are you pulling a standard flat or something else?

How far in advance can you book out loads?

Fuel discount is between .35 and .80 cents per gallon (I know!!!!).....and they do have national tire accounts....(have not needed them yet).....BOL’s are scanned by phone app,

Don’t get me wrong their not perfect, but I’m happy.
