    There's always this . http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/spanish/svh_main.htm
As for recording calls to use as evidence , suppose you end up in court and use that evidence . Then you were asked why you recorded the calls . You recorded them because you knew you'd be asked to run illegaly . Did you ?

Thanks for that Site RickG! :biggrin_25519:

I know a lot of drivers that would be interested in that., I may just make copies and hand them out.

Except for these Larger Trucking Companies. For some reason they seem to get away with murder.

I know of a guy who killed a few people in an accident and this company got his record as a nonchargeable accident.
There's a lot more to this story and he should have been charged big time.

Go Figure! I hear a lot of stories from drivers.

I know a man who deliberately ran a man over and killed him. Never served a day in jail, nor was he fined. Messed him up in the head for awhile though.

He topped a quick rise in the road onto a narrow one lane bridge with retaining walls. He had to choose between the man on one side, and the woman on the other. There wasn't room for him to pass both, and he didn't have time to stop.

Tall tale? Maybe, but the driver was my dad.

Not every accident that involves a death, results in criminal proceedings. Or a loss of license.

While the "accident" would be found to be avoidable by todays standards. It doesn't mean a driver is unsafe. It's just a convenient way to terminate an employee who will cost $30 more to insure.

How about the driver that had Joe Biden's first wife run a stop sign right in front of him . It killed her and her daughter and he was blameless . The driver has passed away but his family has to read reports about Biden telling lies in speeches saying his wife was killed by a drunk truck driver .

Some dispatchers also abuse newbies, because newbies are affraid of being fired for not doing as they ask, they say help me out this time, i am in a jam, i already got you down for it, anyway, the newbies do it and then later get audited, and ended up getting fired anyway. So, really it seems to be a no win situation. I think now after some experience with my husband driving, that you should break any rules at all, stand your ground, it is better to get fired from doing the right thing, than to do the wrong thing.
