Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Do you have your own truck?
-
nope,i been driving for companys

You know of a company called sweet express? Their logo is red lips in a kissing motion lol. They are on 131 north i belive exit 82a, it's the burton street exit. They haul vans. If you had your own truck i could give you a few more that accept. But give them a try if you want i could give their phone #. But this is all i can think of right now.
godslove139 Thanks this. -
I would stay away from Sweet Express, They will want you to sign a 1099 form. They will not take out taxes, no benifits, nothing.

hahahahaha yeah i know the two brothers that run sweet express that's why i said that company 1st. But like i said if you had your own truck i could come up with a few more. I don't drive for them because they take for ever to get you a load i know people that sit at ontario 2-3 weeks w/o a load.

Hey everyone,
Just thought that I would throw my two cents in here, if someone is looking for a local job here in Michigan I have a friend that works for R&L transport and he will be leaving them in August. He advised me that they were hiring driving, and warehouse workers. I talked to him last week and he said that they had hired 5 new driver, and several warehouse worker. That they were still looking for more driver, don't know what there requirements are but if interested you can check them out. Hope this helps someone. -
Dude your looking for a job in michigan? In michigan do we need to say more. Problem is to many drivers to little loads. Now that's a problem because these company drivers are not making any money becayse the company they drive for don;t care what the load is and how much it pays because at the end of the they will get their % amount no matter how much the driver marks. If you can, become a o/o and drive for youself that way you keep 100% of it and look for loads that you can make money on.

RAMPAGE said: ↑Considering we are starting in a new career with no experience we will be making the smart and right moves. Yes we can live anywere we want, even MI. but if he want's to take a 10 hour break at home it would be easier if we lived on the trucking lanes. DU! I'm glad i could make you laugh and feel so much smarter and better than the rest of us.kjpm67 said: ↑HAHAHAHA YOU A WIFE OF A TRUCKER? WOW!!!! YOU KNOW IF YOU SMART AND MAKE THE RIGHT MOVES YOU CAN EVENTUALLY STOP DRIVING FOR PEOPE WHO FIND YOU CHEAP LOADS AND BECOME A O/O AND DRIVE FOR NOBODY BUT YOUR SELF. WHAT THE PROBLEM IS THAT PEOPLE DRIVE FOR 0.98/MILE AND 1.05/MILE AND ARE HAPPY IF THEY CAN COVER THE GAS HAHAHAHAHA. WHEN YOU START TO DRIVE 2/50/MILE THEN YOUR DOING SOMETHING AND THEN YOU CAN GO LIVE ANYWHERE YOU WANT AND NOT HAVE ANY PROBELMS. ANYWAY MICHOGAN HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TRUCKING BUSINESS WTF LOL.Click to expand...
