I know a transfer driver that made about 5K less than me for the year. He drove more miles than I did to make up for the delivery pay.

 

You suck at your job I made 102,000 last year at linehaul

 

Id like to know how you pulled that off i work 6 days no matter what an cant make 96k a year with these guys.

 

It's only the upper 5 percent of every company that makes this money

Right around 100k once you hit top rate. There are guys that take a lot of time off that are in the 80's and guys the hustle that are well over 100. I've talked to some of the sleeper team guys that said they were pulling in the big bucks like 130, can't say if they were or it was just water cooler talk but I believe it.

 

theres companies that pay close too that.

 

Not saying there aren't. They are few and far between.

 

It is. They're making some big money over there. Too bad all CDL holders aren't lucky enough to work there. I was really speaking in terms of your average OTR company

 

Yea that's probably tough to find otr, even more so if you are fairly new. That's not to say that there aren't guy out there making a killing but just from reading on here it generally seems to be about half the money to go otr.
