That’s another thing I need to do. I’ve had all that stuff for years. Never took the time to set it all up. Nows a good time to get more organized. These rates could last for a few yrs. Who knows? Been looking for that golden opportunity for years,to no avail. So this is it, time to buckle down. a little, that’s all.

Problem being @ 1.25 he’ll wear his Truck out, Running ragged, and be broke sooner than later. He’d be better to off if He sends it to Auction, and gets a job at MickyDs.just_sayin, KB3MMX, starmac and 1 other person Thank this.

I think I will pull my truck over by the Fence so I can at least look at it while I sit this out for a while.

I am wondering if the op posted his strategies so some of us can see where he is failing. If he did, I missed it.
I see the great "expert" Rutherford is mentioned with his standard saying. Has he exp, aimed in public exactly how his business model works?

I been leased to schneider for the last 8 yrs. the rates are down and the freight is slow. With that said I’m doing fine, over here. Some people on here said I wouldn't survive. Yet I’m still here.

I got my truck last September and still going. I've been hauling HazMat tanker and containers. My biggest source of loss has been downtime from switching companies twice...and a rebuilt transmission. : |

If a persons recurring expenses are such that he needs to run every day, or even week for that matter, and needs to take cheap freight to keep the wheels turning, he is done, just doesn't realize it yet.
I found long ago that I saved money turning them wheels with out any load if there was not a paying one in the area over doing some shipper or broker i didn't even know a favor, hauling their cheap load.
There was lots of types of loads that wasn't even eligible to be loaded on my truck, just because it is a cheaper product, that can't pay enough to the truck, unless someone is in a bind to get it there.autopaint, FoolsErrand, Rideandrepair and 3 others Thank this. -
