13'4" is lower than actual, unless it's marked "exactly". You get used to eyeballing them after driving around Chicagoland for awhile, too.

If you stray off of 1-9 in Elizabeth there can be some trouble with clearances. And also in Newark along 21/McCarter Hwy if you are trying to make a right to get into Ironbound. The only one I know for certain you can fit under is Murray St. and it is marked 13’6” but it’s #### tight. Only a few inches tops above a 13’6” trailer

I had to find a place from the wrong direction, always fun in Joisey. Detours are a pain anywhere, but much worse for stuff that needs clearance.
They did fix some of the loop backs on US 22 west of Hillside. You can get off and have traffic light controlled intersections instead of hope and pray someone isn't flying at you.PE_T Thanks this. -
Yup, I was in Elizabeth, but went to a different shipper. The broker gave me directions to the shipper, but it was for drivers coming from a different direction. I took my changes, and lost. Hahaha. There were many no truck signs in the streets.ncmickey Thanks this.
