Interior Detailing

Haven't ever heard that before...

 

I heard of one that hung out at they in Dallas, from what I heard she would start cleaning the truck, as soon as the driver mentioned going a little above and beyond, the handcuffs came out. lol

 

Nothing would make me happier than a cop cleaning my truck lol

 

10% bleach, pine sol, roll of shop towels, hands on purple nylon gloving and a mask.

Get in there with a trash 30 gallon bag. Start in one corner and work around.

I used to be a detailer for a very short time. I'll do my own cleaning.

 

Anyway to answer your question. NO I would not pay to have my truck cleaned. But YES I WOULD pay to have it professionally detailed. Not just somebody with a rag and spray bottle of cleaner wiping the dirt around.
Difference being when detailed rugs and seats are steam clean or shampooed. All surfaces, cracks, crevices, are cleaned, and protected (armor all) all glass cleaned like new, etc...

 

Never heard of it put that way.

Usually words like Company etc from my time. I don't talk about it much. We find it easy to deal with with wife and I knowing whats going on when something like that comes across me for a little Company ...

The last one should not be doing that. She has too much of a future for her life up there in NY.

In another side of coin... noonetouchamytruck. I clean it. No one else. Unless I pay them to do it inside a beacon or something.

Most so called cleaners do a terrible job.
But if it is spotless after, darn right I will pay.
Lets say $50 per truck for my day cabs, so its not like the sleeper trucks which are lived in.

 

I like having a maid coming over to clean. Sometimes she comes in the morning in the beginning of the week, puts her headphones on and cleans while I sit on the couch with legs up doing my paperwork

 

I had a guy come over to my yard with a steam machine and he charged me $100 for the interior detailing

 

My housekeeper comes every Monday and Thursday to clean my house, she is awesome, and has been doing it for many years. My yard girl cleans the trucks and trailers full time on summer holidays, part time after school and weekends during school. She is 14 now, started with me at age 13, great girl. I also have her do my car and pickup, wash my motorcycles and quad, plus help do other things as time allows. I have nothing top secret in my house or vehicles to hide.
