We have an 03 t600 13 speed has a single turbo cat serial starts with 6nz. #### good engine. Does that truck has an SEI logo with wings on the sleeper cap?

    Rollincoal,

Very good advice as patience is a virtue. I would suggest not buying from Selectrucks as one member had had bad luck with them. However, I do recommend Arrowtruck sales or FYDA. Both are pleasant to deal with are very nice and do not hassle you.

nxs is a acert twin turbo, mbn is the last of the singles before they went to bxs acert. MBN is just like a 6NZ with minor changes, ecm programming, cat converters in mufflers, and 16.6:1 vs. 16:1 on 6NZ. Also turbo boost cut is 30psi vs 50psi and boost is controlled by ecm. Those things all change when you dump mufflers and reprogram ecm or put older ecm on. MBN is a #### good motor vs the acert crap.

Oh yeah the 387 is a pile of crap.

I meant to say 6nz in my original post not NSX doh! I was told 6nz was the last of the good cats. Are you talking about the roof fairing on top of the sleeper? Mine doesn't have one of those.

Truckpaper is a good place to start. They're the ones who have the free papers at truck stops with for sale ads in them. There's always a mix of overpriced and pricedright trucks in it. Regardless price is always negotiable. Check with dealers around your area too and google their online inventory.

I meant to say 6NZ not NSX. Thanks for the info. Btw, do you use pittsburgh power products?

What is the most reliable truck to buy? Which brands break down the most and which brands are the most expensive to repair?

I myself would never wanna drive a 387 because it's a annoying truck, rattling dash, wind blowing through the windows and just like the t2000 and the rest of the aerodynamic trucks it's not stable in winds.

kw w900, pete 379, western star 4900ex i would also put the lonestar in there too. But the rest are ahhh to me. Then again some people don't like classic trucks so that plays a part in it too.
