Some read, I remember reading something about Pride, England, Knight and Swift are all linked.
Had something to do with family and former employees all branching off to form these companies. -
Jeffery England started Pride transport. At one point I believe they were called the pride of England but that got squashed early.
-
It was Jeff and his Dad right? I worked for them for a short time back in 2008/09. Nice guys but at that time upstairs management had no clue what downstairs dispatch was up to. Paper logs were still all the rage back then. Probably cant get away with as much now.
-
I believe so. They are some of the best I’d say as far as a mega carrier.
-
So is Pride part of the Swift family tree?
-
No. It was started by one of CR England sons.
-
No. Related to England, but not under the same leadership.

Just looking for an update to this.
How much youve been making, how are your miles and runs, do you go up into the North East.... All that good stuff.
My man and i are thinking of jumping ship at our current company as the freight just took a nose dive.
We were looking at other places and i suggested Pride today and everything looks great on the website, but eyes on the ground is best. -
We lived in Fernley 06' to 08' when I was running dedicated WM out of Mccarran. Left to go back to SoCal and boy that was a mistake. Should have stayed in Fernley.
Bumper Thanks this.
