Wow that's good news , your starting with a decent company with really nice equipment lite years ahead of were I started , but they are awful picky on truck operation and the way you take care of the rig.
This may be a rumor , but they fired a driver for buying and putting floor mats in his tractor , so keep it clean and dont have a yard sale on your dashboard.
    Best of luck.

Thanks for the advice. I don't plan on being dirty. I'll keep minimum stuff in the truck.

Averaging $5k per week in revenue to the truck is not normal for a solo driver, even if you ran nonstop, but it can be for an aggressive trainer. You can hit $5k but its not often. Also, hardly anyone consistantly maxes out their points on mpg and oor. Very few drivers have passport, twic or hazmat. Parking up every sunday is easy, but most drivers want a full weekend and so dont. If your a new solo driver and not the recruiting dept, and if what your saying is true, then you are a true 1 percent-er.

All the trucks come equipped with satellite radio, but you pay for your own subscription, just like if you have it in your person vehicle. I dont think TMC offers the fridges anymore as they were junk and only lasted a year or so. Any 12v cooler from Walmart will do a good job refrigerating food. As for direct tv...I personally dont recommend it. Ive heard driver getting charged $40 in a month for it. Thing is, you can get your own subscription for like $29 or so and stream it to your laptop or phone, and not have to worry about the parkups and all that. Plus, the direct tv units in the truck are a pain. Truck almost always has to be facing south to southeast. If there is any tall tree or in your path it'll likely block the signal. Just buy a subscription and stream it, much easier.
