I and a couple of buddies worked at Seward motor freight out of Seward NE. We all got hosed on pay, sat most weekends, and when we left they tried to pin accidental damage to the rig on me ( I disputed it as a dent caused by a mechanic moving the truck)and a preventable accident on my buddy that wasn't in a tractor. Only after we had left the company I assume to make follow up work more difficult. Talk about sour grapes. Stay away if you want to roll, get paid a fair rate, and don't want to sit Sat and Sun.

Shaffer was bad in NE too, at least for me. They sucked & they slammed my DAC after I quit too. I guess these companies get their jollies and enjoyment from revenge against Drivers who quit !

a good old slow-moving freight why I'm surprised it's still last as long as they've had through the years..
I used to work directly across the Interstate back in the early 80s with the now-defunct jti who was absorbed into US Express about 1997 or so..
SNF like Island carriers they hold on but they screw people left and right..
how in the world they still kept that Walker muffler account out of Seward Nebraska is still beyond me -
They do it because they can.
And there's no ramifications for lying about
A driver on a DAC report. -
If anything wrong or untrue ever shows up on your dac I just dispute it. It's the burden of the person who put the mark on there to prove it is true, not the driver so if there is false stuff on there it's not impossible to get off. As it's been said in here before, it's just a credit report so it can get repaired as easily as it can get screwed up provided the screw up isn't valid.

Why should the driver have to waste all of
His time disputing a lie.
This is not a 10 minute fix on the phone.
Meanwhile he's turned down from jobs
Until he gets it fixed.
It's a big pain in the ###.
And the companies know it, that's why they do it.
What's the punishment to the company
For putting the lie on there to begin with.
Nothing.
If it was they wouldn't do it.FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
You are 100% correct that it is a huge pain in the ### and there is no penalty for the company for being a pos liar but it's not the death sentence of trucking people make it our to be. A lost of companies also know that the dac is stupid and just used for crappy companies to be vindictive turds so s lot of time it doesn't carry much if any weight.bzinger Thanks this.

I wonder, if the company a fake ding in the dac and u get it removed, would you be able to sue them for laibel?
FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
Sure they are liable. You could sue for loss of income, from future employment. Slander. Defamation of character. Why do you guys put up with this? Hit them where it hurts, in the pocketbook.
like clay… +++ and FlaSwampRat Thank this.
