I recently replaced the brakes and wheel seals on the front drive axle.
Now that axle will lock up when the brakes are applied, loaded or empty
Also (maybe unrelated) application pressure gauge has stopped working

check ur slack adjuster or ur s cams, make sure ur brakes were adjusted correctly also after changing brakes and that the brakes were released with at least 100 psi in the tanks when they were adjusted.
-
Slacks are good. So are s cams and bushings
Adjustment checked 6 times and air at 100 plus. -
any service done to the power divider?
-
The rear axle components and adjustments are ok as well? Im guessing that there is something wrong in the distribution of air from the pedal to the axles as the brakes should wear at the same rate one would think.
NightLight Thanks this. -
Yes sir, as far as i know.
The rear axle brakes were replaced shortly before i bought the truck last year. The front axle needed done now.
They were still legal just, not to my liking. -
