Ive one computer approching 14 years service continually. That one I built for Ex when we married long ago carefully choosing for reliability. It only went down once, due to a special kind of spanish made worm. It was rebuilt and updated a few years ago.

However I am worried for it's CPU Intel says it's good for 50K hours. It's past that long ago.

My current computer is pushing 4 years 24/7 approximately 35K hours on Radiator Cooled CPU. Some of the reused parts inside the box approaching 15 years service.

 

This Psu is 12-13 yrs old now. ive upgraded everything else for performance reasons.

Except for the Radiator, its still kicking

 

Wife is loving her new ride, and may already have her Subaru sold...she is optimistically hopeful.

 

I've never witnessed as many subarus in one place as when we visited a friend near Portland..
