I was able to see my kids once a week as he always took Thursdays off. The only reason I put up with what I did. and being a racist, Foul, homophobic, dirty scum, that left empty pee bottles laying around did not effect my cdl. Falsifying my logs however could have.

I want you to know....you shouldn't feel bad about this. Your mentor is a clown. Clowns are for the circus.

    Good on you

If he drove on your logs after his clock was up to get somewhere and he kills someone along the way not only is he going to be in trouble but then the company gets sued by lawyers of the deceased’s family.. you can’t sue the driver he has no money so they always go for the company because of the revenue.

We’re dealing with a law suit right now of a similar situation and it’s Just a headache that isn’t worth it.
Keep your hands clean is the best you can do.

If he acted like that around you, there is no telling what else he may have done with others. He only cared about the extra money, not about training and making the company look good. You must lie in your bed the way you made it.

If it will make you feel better, he will probably be driving again within a week or two for another company.

If he hit someone while running under your logs it would have been your ### and I bet he wouldn’t feel anything for ruining your life. So don’t feel bad driver you did the right thing.

Op got to tell you I stopped reading as soon as the word racists was used, you need to grow up a bit because this is not a world where many give a crap, most have this let live attitude and are there to do a job and make money.

Reality is that this can effect your employment if you make claims of others just because of their attitude, if they act on that attitude as an owner or as someone in power, then that’s different.

  9. actually I'd like to know he didn't mention about the racist part..
    only about the piggish behaviors:
    1. is OP a Caucasian or of A different race is he African American or Hispanic??
    2. Is trainer the same way a Caucasian or of African or Hispanic or another race??
did he hurl racial insults at you or was he dropping N bombs or racial slurs and comments all over the place every time he's seen someone of African American descent?? or someone of A different race than he is??

if you each were of the opposite race or if he hurled insults directly at you there is grounds for him to not ever train againregardless if he's terminated or loses his lease or not..another employee shall not direct their views towards another employee it's called equal opportunity employment

if however it's just his views and he likes to show his racist views but not directed at you then you have the one of two options if it should ever happen again with someone else leave the truck or listen to his hurling words out..

I still stand behind my original post the bottom line the ####### POS got what he deserved

It's not like you reported him for littering or creative use of a seatbelt

He violated rules and laws and involved and potentially implicated you. Without your consent. After already being a pain in your a22 and having exactly zero favor or loyalty credit with you.

What are you sorry for, exactly?
