you know being a good trainer also includes not blowing smoke up all the new trainees ##### about how good everything will be and keeping from them the truth about how things are probably going to get alot worse before they ever get better miles will suck unless you happen to have an outstanding dm andno offense but people like jj and his wife never tell u the whole truth they must get a bonus for every driver they refer because they can be so full of #### that thier eyes are brown, oh wait jj is a trainer of course he is going to get miles. stop lying to these people and try telling the truth that central is just like every other company u are going to have good weeks and bad weeks and things will happen its inevitable but jj u make it sound like central invented sliced bread GET REAL!!!!!!!!

 

oh and one more thing jj it wasnt all that long ago u were gonna leave central because u were getting screwed so like i said be real and tell the truth to these poor guys out there

JJ is a very nice gentleman who is willing to help you as much as he can. I am proud to have had my recent phone call. He answered my questions truthfully. I am sad there are not as many people as willing to help other people out as this gentleman. He did not have to start this thread. He did it because he is kind and soft hearted like any of us. We are here to help each other, not to bash one another.

If you have had a bad experience, move on to another company. Central is not for everyone. If you blame someone blame that company not the indivuaudual.

Can't and won't help with a trainer at Central since I don't work there. What to pack tho, I can help with. Saw where a thread was posted for you to look at. Haven't read it myself but make sure you include a jacket w/hood. Your joining a reefer outfit and some of the places you'll go to are down right cold.

About the truth on being a driver. I'm going to assume (I know, I know what assuming means) that most people have read more than 1 thread on this forum. God knows I have. ALL companies have both their good and bad points and those will even change from day to day. The company I drive for can really drive me up a wall at times!!!!!!!!! The longet that I am here tho, and with reading other threads, and talking to other drivers, its really not that bad. We at least have some of the creature comforts and #### sure don't have to worry about idling!!!! Thats just my 2 cents worth which in todays economy puts me where? $5 in the hole?

Should I be really annoyed that my recruiter doesn't respond to emails? I sent him a message back on the 18th and still haven't gotten a reply. Should I contact the head of recruiting about it? I don't wanna be a #####, but I have questions and would love answers from him.
