Even if the feds legalize it, you will still be drug tested to drive,

Just imagine what would have happend if you had some "funny" paper logs...

"Outlaws" don't walk away from things like this. You did. :)

If them (funny) paper logs were up to snuff, what difference would it make?

Well, there is paper logs and funny paper logs. "Legal" VS _Legal_. A cell phone leaves a trail everywhere you go. Not to mention any other cameras around.

That could be a problem, but usually isn't when the truck is not at fault.
We did have a case here a few years ago, when one company was at fault in a fatal accident, the other truck and fatality who was not at fault reportedly was 15 minutes or so ahead of his log, and supposedly the at fault company did not have to pay his widow as much, this is all second hand info though, so I am not sure how much truth there is to it.

Big Brother is watching, all the time more and more.
Yet somehow people always forget the fact. Maybe they never saw the movie?

Of course we don't actually call it Big Brother now.
Now it is Smart Device's that we all take for granted, forgetting or ignorant of what they are actually doing and recording.

No, that's not what they're talking about, clearly, the OP has no problem with peeing in a bottle. Their frustration comes from being judged a criminal before all else, and it's one of the reasons I got out. It's norml [sic] to feel this way after an accident, you question everything, because, they are pissed. They do everything by the book, and this still happens. Takes a while, but they'll get over it, as long as nothing else happens.

YOU and other current holding CDL drivers, are in a safety related industry as are the airplane pilots and train engineers.

it's what you signed up for, when you got your CDL permit.

if you don't want to tolerate this do what i did...retire...

    or

    seek employment outside these parameters.

It's kind of funny how so many people that are in favor of drug testing scream bloody murder when they're the one that gets tested.

I don't know of too many people that are actually in favor of drug testing. It lowers good people to just above scumbag status. I felt like a criminal every time I did that.
