as long as she keeps it under 50 mph and it don't explode..??
ok, i guess......lol -
articulated buses are still considered Class B buses. Class A buses have a separate power unit towing a passenger trailer.
buddyd157 and LoneRanger Thank this. -
I was about to ask what the heck is a class A bus. Thanks for the lesson.Last edited: Aug 18, 2019
buddyd157 and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
please refer to the o/p's first posting.
then, someone asked what was an articulated bus.gummy bear Thanks this. -
Yes sir, I did read his original post and saw where others asked what articulated buses were.
When I read your reply, you mentioned the op was not allowed to drive articulated buses...
As I had mentioned, a Class B (or Class A w/M restriction) CDL holder can, indeed, legally drive articulated buses. Class A buses are an entirely different vehicle vs the articulated buses.
Just trying to help clear the mud we sometimes find in discussions. -
this is not even in America, but most likely in India....

i have never seen those types here in the states.
airports have buses for shuttling passengers across the airport, which look similar to what i had posted, but in fact, are not as tall. city buses that are articulated are taller.
it'll take me some time, when i get back, i will search again for what i had found.gummy bear Thanks this. -
Class A buses used to be very common years and years ago, then got relegated to only being common in Texas and California. Today, they're a very rare thing to see in any part of the country outside of maybe military use occasionally.
I'm looking forward to seeing the info you had found to see how it differs from the information I had gathered. Thanks for taking the time to share that when you do find it.FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -

- M - If a driver possesses a Class A CDL, but obtains his or her passenger or school bus endorsement in a Class B vehicle the State must place an "M" restriction indicating that the driver can only operate Class B and C passenger vehicle or school buses.
Can you drive a school bus with a Class A CDL?
