mounts to the top of the mirror....there's a place to screw your antenna into
-
The foil wouldnt hurt but it will have to be connected together some how..
Top/middle/base load all need the same requirements... -
Is me or does this feel like someone is fishing...
-
I would measure from the ground up to your mirror bracket and subtract that distance from 13 foot 6 inches, and that will tell you how long you want the antenna to be. If it's close then it's worth buying. Any adjustments you make shouldn't make a drastic change in the overall length.BlueThunderr Thanks this.

There's not really such a thing as a pre tuned antenna. How it Tunes is determined by the vehicle it's mounted on. It might be a perfect match on one vehicle and it might not be so great on a different vehicle. There's always things you can do to manipulate how it Tunes.BlueThunderr Thanks this.

When you say connected, are you meaning connecting the foil squares to each other, or making sure that they touch metal somewhere in the truck?
