uh oh, do not let JJ see that. JK. I am happy and am studying the cdl book. I am viewing General knowledge and air brakes. Anything else I should look at?

Hunter, Do yourself a favor and study the hazmat section. You might not want to pay for the background check ($80 in my state) but at least study it.

I actually learned a lot about securement when I renewed my hazmat. It was worth it.

I can't believe the number of people I spoke with who are planning to let their hazmat endorsement expire. The fewer drivers with the endorsement SHOULD drive up the demand for those who have it.

    The Challenger Thanks this.

Thanks lastkid. My dad is at the point of supporting me and has offered me his blessing. To make a long short, anytime I get that I know i am making the right decision. Anyone think I should take spanish while I am in college?

Jess, the back was successful. Biggest problem was not being able to see what I was backing into. I'm in the bright sunshine but back of tlr in darkness, or so it seems.

OMG!!!! What a difference in airflow that a simple but clean filter can make!! Goin to stay cool now. Woo Hoo!!!

King, congrats on the B. When ya going to start analyzing all of us? I'll begin. I'm just a long, graying haired hippie type, stuck in the 60 and 70's. Can you make anything of that? lol lol
Seriousely tho, concerning the CDL. Study and take it all. Won't cost any extra except for the hazmat. Heck, I'd even study the bus portion of it and wished I had done that myself when I got mine. The more endorsements you have, the more you can do. About the spanish, might be a good ideer. They are the fastest growing population in the USA. Give it another 20 years, and us caucasion types are going to know what it feels like to be a minority.

I will be watching for ya, I too am in IL & also Wyo bound. I'm in Rochelle headed for Cheyenne.

Sorry, I can't be of any help here. I went to the Fontana school so I didn't have to transfer my licence when I got it.

Things are starting to get under my skin a little bit. I have been fighting to get my breakdown & late hometime pay for 2 weeks now & they finally get it to me... However they owed me 360.00 for late hometime & they paid me 240.00. If they think I'm going to just take a loss of 120 bucks they are very wrong.

JJ is in Milwaukee WI and has to drop a load in the drop yard in Chicago and then head to Rochelle for a Wally world load to Cheyenne.

Sounds like you have the jump on him.

Call them up again and tell them they ripped ya again.

He must be heading to the same place I'm sitting right now, he might get here before I head out. This place always likes to take awhile.

I will start in on them again Monday morning. THIS IS NOT OVER!!!
