I've hear that many times... even woken up by it.
I go out to investigate and it's some guy on the phone with his wife, or a pair of drivers standing right in front of the hood of a truck idling and having a "convo". Some people just use a dramatic "outdoor voice" all the time.
They are 7 trucks away at least, but it sounds like bloody murder. Yes, it's usually a specific race... I went there...

Yeah I’m from the south, Midwest but still the south. People around here like to settle arguments with hands. When I was a kid no one would call the law but now soccer moms moved in so everyone handles business on county roads after dark.D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
