My bad. I didn't make myself clear. Boobear hasn't got a clue who tattled.

    Who's the snitch?
Crete ain't dying right now, although they've been trying to kill me lately. Finally got a slow load I can relax on, just after a much needed 34 hour reset. I stopped in Milford, CT for the night. I walked the 5 minutes to Gipper's Restaurant and had a fantabulous afternoon. I left the house Saturday morning and had over 3300 paid miles in by Thursday morning.

Im about to start school, and am looking at crete. Allready been through a prehire with them. But i have heard from other drivers that work with crete that they would not want to be anywhere else.

Good Move.I drove for my first 2 years with another company, I always would run into Cretians at customers. They were good people to talk too. I rarely stay around a terminal, but when I have too,I have good people around me. Most other company drivers are zombies or just no good people. I work hard when I have good loads and play just as hard when I get slow loads.
You made a good choice and welcome to Crete.

I've been an o/o at Crete for almost three years now. Since after Thanksgiving of '08 my miles have been down due to the economy. JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER COMPANY. Before Thanksgiving I was averaging about 3000 miles aweek. After, 2400-2500, and that was because I used every trick in the book to get those miles.

Since the mid part of April I have seen a steady increase in the miles. I left home the afternoon of June 8th and have turned 10,100 miles as of tonight. I've wanted to do a 34 restart a couple of times, but due to the delivery times and my available hours, I've had to use all available hrs each day to deliver on time.

It sure feels good to work hard again, without trying. :yes2557:

Thats what i want to hear. Im going to have a fun time through school starting the 6th. I broke my hand and now only have 3 fingers on my shifting hand. Luckily they are my two big fingers and my thumb, i know ill be allright. Ya they have allready told me in sept they can get me out with a trainer. The only thing bad about doing this is i have a family im gonna leave behind but got to do what you got to do to put food on the table. I know ill like crete because of their rep.The only thing im wondering about is can they get me home around the day i want to go home. I was also wondering do you know what kind of miles the newbies are getting. I calculated and around 9000 a month will do good. thanks for the info
