Your carrier needs to DataQ this and support it with adequate documentation. Then say a lil prayer and hope the agency that wrote the violations doesn't double down on their lie. Either way, the people that matter agree with your logbook compliance. Let them handle it and carry on.

Far as the left lane violation is concerned, that's on you. Very few places I've ever seen where traveling the left lane when there's more than two lanes is legal, never mind the fact you're sticking out like a big inspection target by doing that.

That’s what I’m thinking. I’m definitely going to court for the “left lane” citation. But, from what KeepTrukin compliance is saying, the DOT violation can’t be fought until after it’s already on my PSP.

I totally agree but in this case, it was a Friday around noon and I had stops to get off. But like I said, after a few minutes, I had already concluded that he wasn’t going to budge from is “bad” call. I wish I had audio of our conversation, it’s incredible that this guy is able to conduct logbook inspections. The more he talked, the more I was convinced that he had no idea what he was talking about. The sad part is that, new drivers don’t stand a chance against guys like this. Hopefully their company will fight for them.

DataQ is a joke. I received an OOS a few months ago for not wearing my glasses while driving. The problem is, I was wearing them. DOT stopped me on the scale and asked for my license. Took off my glasses to dig my license out of my wallet an hung them around my neck. DOT saw me do that and still wrote the ticket. Lied through his teeth and DataQ sided with DOT.

I was already given a dock number when I called for directions. So, once on site, it took less than 2 minutes to bump the dock. So that’s the reason for the quick check in. I agree with you in part about the left lane, but there are several places where it’s not a violation. In my home state, Mississippi, as well a others, there are places where “through” traffic is encouraged to use the left lane. But if there’s no sign, no one can be expected know that it’s not allowed. But I accept your point.

Well, I don’t think that lying will be able to overcome the logs that clearly show that there was no 14 hour violation.

In hindsight, I agree. Although there were no signs, I agree

On the second document you are showing short periods of sleeper time less than 2 hours. I don't think they count because to use split you must have 2 minimum hours all together at once rather than bits and pieces.

Maybe I am wrong. I would be the first to say so. That 10 hour sleeper time pretty much gives you a new 11-14 working day into the next evening.
