I have run into a few drivers who pull the govt freight for the aa&e division. Is there any truth to the money being paid for these loads? I've been quoted by some drivers making 300K peryear. I have not seen anyone mention this area here yet nor answer any questions on it either.Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I had a friend who was leased on with LS and he told me about a load out a canton, OH to KC, MO that was paying 3k! It was a light load also.
The only problem was, if you wanted your money that week you had to give up a couple percent or wait something like 30 days. for LS to get paid by the gov't. I think thats illegal but its LS so it wouldn't suprise me! -
Landstar drivers don't talk much . Most of the talk you hear from drivers is griping . Landstar drivers don't have much to gripe about .

Why do you say that????

I never wait to be paid at Landstar. What I turn in before friday I get paid on tuesday the next week. Thats four days not 30. If you have to wait to be paid you did not get your paperwork signed right.

In my last post I didn't say anything about A&E rates. They are above average but there are more rules and bs that goes with it. If you want in this you better have ALL your ducks in a row.
300K a year seems way too high but I bet a few can make that much.
