I work for Tyson and that was a message to all company drivers . What he meant was any injury at the work place not injuries caused just bywrecks . With 2500 drivers hauling live chickens - feed truck drivers - shuttle drivers - regional drivers- and long haul drivers . Some dropping and hooking to 15-20 trailers a day. No injuries for 33 days is pretty darn good. But again we sadly lost this driver due to his injuries.

    Lepton1, mjd4277 and Bud A. Thank this.
  8. I guess given the location 33 days is probably good for that region..
what amazes me is when I go into like a steel mill or a processing plant like dog food and more and it says this plan his work like 650 days sometimes even more without an injury or accident that shows proper precautions in place.. but these are places up there in the North.
not Southern based chicken plantswhere it does end up seeming to be a lot more common where you're lucky to get people to go even two or three months without an incident or injury unfortunately. .
the stats and numbers say it all

Tyson is more than a trucking company. That number is more than likely for the entire corporation.

And be an ###? @calnca is giving you a industry insight from an industry you know jack about.

    Bud A. Thanks this.

Like a few comments have mentioned, my Dad died early Thursday afternoon. You all know how quickly roads can become dangerous, and that even the safest drivers aren't immune to accidents. Please be careful out there, and give your families big hugs for me and my Dad.

PacoTaco, 7-UP, buddyd157 and 3 others Thank this.
