This is random but I’m curious. When a company does a road test on a new driver, what happens if that driver got into an accident during the road test??? Does insurance cover that?? Who pays?? No I’m not in this situation, I just think a lot & this was one of the many things I’ve always wondered.

most definitely! I wonder if it still exists!

The company they're taking the driving test for wouldn't let them behind the wheel if they weren't insured. It's on the company, and if it actually happened the driver would be looking for a new career.tscottme Thanks this.

Years ago [pre-cdl] there was a company that wouldn't road test after 3 accidents the safety man wouldn't get in a truck!
