    I'm not as talented or mechanically inclined, but sandblast, paint, engine, trans, tires, and ended up around 50k in my 89. Course your never done, but so far I am sure happy with the old girl.

    I think you did great @Ezrider_48501 . She looks like she drives real well!

    I ask them if I could get lasic at the same time and they explained they didn't do that.
    They then explained the deal and they change the lense in the eye anyway, so they put a prescription lense in. I told them I didn't want a prescription lense because I didn't want to have to come back when I needed a new prescription when my eyes changed again. he told me they would not change again,with the new lense.

    @Ezrider_48501

    I think you did the right thing here. I know you got the skills to make this project happen for sure.

    I don’t have a YouTube account but will create one specifically to subscribe to your channel if you put this build on there.

    Congratulations!!!

    ill most certainly be making video's on it. i posted one already this thread has more info about the truck in it than that video does but just kinda showing the truck and some of the drive home with it. it seems like quite a few people are interested in following the project.

    today is going to be the first day i actually get to do any real work on it. still gonna be kinda piddly stuff. going to pull the 5th wheel slider off. probably take a look at the jake brakes and swap the break knobs around so the parking brake isn't where the trailer air supply goes....lol see how the day goes mabye tinker with some other stuff as well.

    The handle is pilot air signal to move the sliding spool in that block on the driver side. There is also a pilot operated valve behind a brass plug down low under the splitter piston. Ive had those gun up and tear an o ring from sitting.. And ive had those 1/16" ferrules crush.

    The problem you described cost me a brand new aux gear in just a few trips because the pilot lines were pinched by a crushed ferrule and they werent shifting the splitter valve fast enough for it to stay in time. I had never drove a 13spd and thought it was me sucking at it.

    Go through your pilot lines end for end until you find the pinched one! No more splits until then!

    rank and Ezrider_48501 Thank this.
