New to Canada, new to trucking

I've been doing this a long time and without t4s......what drivers report to make is usually exaggerated.

 

True. But some of us have no reason to exaggerate, because we really don’t care what others think. I did high 90’s last year, lost 8 weeks due to a couple surgeries. I’ll be back to 110 ish this year. And I’m home daily, off weekends.

theres lotsa cheap workers/inexperienced guys/foreign workers doing deck work....its really no different than vans in that sense.

Also the company I contract to. When I started here awhile also I was getting 35/hour +OT after 8. I was working my 40 hours within the first 3.5 days and making bank after that.

That job gave me the ability to buy 1 truck, then another and another, etc. Now I’m the boss making $185/ hour on every truck.

 

Always gonna be a wild card.

Considering there is 1-10 Van/Reefer crashes a day in BC/Ontario, I still stand by my Statements.
