DEF = poor quality DEF left me stranded

I part time with a small company. They only have one unit that requires DEF. The driver had complained about the engine derating a couple times from using DEF from the pumps. He leaves out now with a boat load of the stuff under his bunk in the Cascadia. What a PITA!

 

Blame EPA, they don't give a crap about breakdowns and issues.

 

You are preaching to the choir. Typical EPA thinking............. Changing one form of pollution into another form of pollution.............is ok?

 

And here you were the one preaching about how the best way to get started is to buy a new truck.

 

Had SAME problem they replaced my Dosing value and pump and it has been fine!

 

TP, do you remember how much did it cost to change the dosing valve and the pump? how long did it take? Thanks.

 

That is what's happening to my truck right now, I got some def from the Petro in Effingham il drove about 180miles request regen light can on I regen my truck 4 times and still can't drive. What can i do? Is there anything I can put in the def tank to improve the quality of def thank you for your reply
