Local work is horrible. Good idea; tell the boss "bye-bye."
CaptainDaveG, Vic Firth, buddyd157 and 3 others Thank this. -
I want to but I said I would do the overnighter down to Georgia and don't want them to say I abandoned a load or somethingthelushlarry, Chinatown and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
-
Right, don't abandon the load. Change jobs after you return to your home terminal.

Come on dude, 2 pallets in the same day? If you see they are not stacked or shrink wrapped properly, then down stack them and 2 wheel them in-then bring the pallet down on the liftgate when it is not so tall.
Looks like you are trying to do too much too fast, slow down and take your time-it will save time in the long run.
I do alot of lift gate deliveries, and when I try to rush is when things go bad.autopaint, thelushlarry, McUzi and 15 others Thank this. -
Yea I know I should slow down but I gotta make it to the hotel before the clock run out they make it a tight run from Cincinnati to Lafayette Georgia
Last week I had a tire blow on this run and had to sleep in the truck (daycab) and I don't want to do that againthelushlarry, D.Tibbitt, baha and 1 other person Thank this. -
So which isfaster slowing down and doing it right, or picking it up off the ground? lol
meechyaboy, thelushlarry, Coffey and 5 others Thank this. -
Usually slowing down, don’t have to worry about damaged product
Don’t have to worry about looking like a jack wagon when you dump the pallet in front of the customer also. .thelushlarry, Coffey, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -
Tell you what, if the dock did that to me, there would be a surprise waiting for them when I got back.
Coffey, FlaSwampRat and TheyCallMeDave Thank this.
