SAFEGUARD?!!

    Idk if anyone knows this but....my safeguard goes off and pushes on the brakes whenever i go under bridges and some signs...any suggestions on how to fix this crap???!!! Or why it even does this??

    Disable it.

    Stationary objects like pillars etc is one thing. But when you approach certain bridges it may generate a form of illusion back to the radar and show doppler which makes it feel that is a moving problem.

    Winter is coming. There are times where safegaurd is going to get someone hurt or killed at least.

    Personally I would absolutely torch a assigned truck with that crap. I am a professional, hand me a old iron rig and go to sleep happy.

    This is where I'm glad I'm about to get a different truck. Last winter, this one tried to kill me, and im willing to bet that if it got the chance this winter it would absolutely try again

    I figured as much...i know how...i just like to use for cruise control...but in doing that of course..safeguard stays on..which really sucks...and no kidding!

    If Boss man make noise, who me? Dunno. He can fire me but I'll be happy.

    this is true..about a week ago, i leased a new '19 Toyota..it has adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance, and lane departure control ...all are a PITA....

    i just do not turn them on, in the first few days of driving, some "false positives" were enough to be thankful i never drove a truck with any such crap as well.
