Hello all. New to this site. Have just over three years commercial driving experience BZ license in Ontario. Does anyone have any advice on reputable companies that might be hiring? Either DZ, or willing to train for AZ? Or websites, aside from Indeed and Kijiji? Sorry I don’t have social media. Any help is really appreciated. Thank you!

I work for Miller waste systems. I drive a truck collecting recycle bins. If you dont mind physical labor the job is great. 4 day work week, decent pay(I'm on track to make 80k). They hire new drivers so experience is definitely not needed.
BigHossVolvo Thanks this. -
Curious, are they large roll off bins? What kind of trucks do you guys run? Buddy of mine runs a Tri Axle T800 out there doing rolloffs and does quite well also.

4refuel seems alright to me. Automatic transmissions, decent hourly pay, will train you for AZ/1 later on. Canada cartage has dz units as well, mostly for home delivery for a furniture supplier or home depot depending where you are.

I'm doing curbside collection, the truck is an international auto transmission. The job is both driving and physical labor. Most weeks I'm clearing between 1000-1200 after deductions. Isnt bad for a 4 day work week. Tuesday-Friday. Having a long weekend every weekend is very nice.BigHossVolvo and Phantom Trucker Thank this.
