Down shifting

    Thanks 5mouths2feed,
    so pretty much just like driving with a splitter but no low range. Would take some getting used to shifting at 1300 rpm and having a 350 rpm split but wouldn't be any trouble to drive.
    Tell the truth I'll stick with my brownies though :yes2557:

    You don't HAVE to shift at 1300 its just best milage to do so... What' s funny is that at one time they say to use the clutch for button but then they tell you IF you want quicker shifts of the split then you should use the clutch.. They know good and well we are gonna float that sucker all the time so they give that hint to get a quicker shift from the splitter.:yes2557:

    When you are pulling up a 8% grade at 110k lbs with your friend beside you in his KW and 620 Cummins both racing at 25mph and having to up-shift not wanting to miss the split I move the stick into neutral and select high and straight back in the same hole again,guaranteed never to miss the split under high pressure situations:biggrin_255:
