Yeah i wear shower shoes in the shower, i also use hand santizer and wipe down inside in my truck with clorox wipes every other day or so, also have a vacuum to vacuum up truck everday and spray febreeze on seat and upholstry everyday. I always have a nice pair of dickies pants and dickies shirt on or nice dress shirt on with boots everyday. Even doing flatbed i can keep clean . Some of us like being clean and neat . u will never see me in shorts or flippers walking around the truck stop like i just woke up from under a bridge, u dont got to be a nasty trucker to be a manly trucker, even sonny pruitt wore shower shoes and he was the baddest trucker to ever live LOL

They’re not wrong, though. Increasing the A/C does save energy and money. The government medical encyclopedia is actually pretty good. There are some other good medical encyclopedias out there, but our government is not going to be selling you anything as they’re not a business.

Now, I’m not saying I love the government, but I will say it is very nice of them to provide a free medical encyclopedia to the world, which is available in several languages.

LoL, There's only one place I know of where you can get Bob Barker everything. From work boots, & slides all the way up to combs & toothbrushes..

You aren't aware it actually takes more energy to constantly be moving your thermostat than just pick a nice comfortable setting and leave it there? Trust me I've tried the whole turn the heat down in the shop while nobody's there, you don't save anything, same thing goes for AC. How do you wash the bottom of your feet if you're wearing sandals in the shower, that's a quicker way to end up with athlete's foot. Back in the 70s or 80s they were actual communal showers weren't they, and not cleaned between each use.

You actually do save, but you have to turn it off. Don’t just raise the temperature, unless you’re trying to protect something from excessive heat/cold.

A decade ago this was debatable, but with today’s technology, this has been put to rest. I ran the tests when I lived in Las Vegas some 3 years ago. The energy company I had, posted my daily energy use online. So I was able to confirm that turning off your A/C while gone for hours is in fact more efficient than just leaving it on. I’m not the only one to report this. By now, there are probably several YouTubers who have also tested this.

C’mon man. You take off one sandal at a time. Maybe some people find it difficult to balance their weight. I’ve never had any difficulties doing it.

"Shower slides", as they're called in the big house. I think the ones that are all plastic and rubber, no cloth material, are your best bet. My wife who is also my co driver has a pair from OP or Ocean Pacific and have lasted her many years. I also have a pair from same company that have l had for same amount of time, but with a cloth type material on the straps that take longer to dry.
If you aren't wearing flip flops or some other type of shoes in a public shower, there is something seriously wrong with you!

Bootcamp gave me lifetime athletes foot and jock itch. Been to doctors, tried everything from OTC to prescriptions to no avail. What does work, is basketball shorts and flip flops. Which has the added bonus of driving other flatbedders crazy.

I wear them too. If you think your shower floor is clean pour some peroxide on that floor and watch it fizz.

    Only last a few months?

    Really?

I replaced mine every two months, threw them out because they were cheap and not made to protect people from bacteria or viruses.
