Truck driver dies in Oregon after truck hits sign bridge support

CRE,Swift,Schneider,JB Hunt,USX, or even Target’s private fleet-they all pull those trailers. Mostly daycab though. RIP driver.

 

Yeah when I first read it I thought medical is very possible.

 

It was CR England. Reports are The driver was going to miss the truck exit and lost it. RIP very sad situation.

 

yeah, at that time of night, it could have been, unless

1) someone hit him and took off

2) he had a tire blow out

3) maybe he had a very long day and DID fall asleep

but maybe the information will come out later, either way RIP driver

Witnesses told KOIN 6 News they saw the truck driving in the left lane when it lost control and crashed.

Derk Baker said he was in his friend’s car coming home from Vancouver when he saw a Target truck veer “a little sideways, cut across the freeway and into a barrier.”

“And then this big burst of yellow — flames everywhere,” he said. “It was bad.”
