    Anyone know how this hwy is? Dragging a tridem rgn and didn't want to end up on a narrow hwy that I can't make very good time on. Any info appreciated.

    I’ve run it. Lots of log trucks on that route, it’s not particularly narrow but it is windy in places and not a good route for making time. Are you rubbing it as a shortcut over to US23 or actually ending in Whitesburg?

    I pick up at Holt Equipment in Fayetteville but looking at it I may come in on 40 then down the 421. New ground for me so trying to find the path of least resistance.

    they changed the weights on the bridges in norton on us 23. 38 tons for truck and trailer.

    you may look at 75 to ky 80(hall rogers to the hazard area. i del to the wm in hazard often. us 23/I-26 to hazard is a ride.

    Do not take 421 from Mountain City, TN to Bristol, TN. They call it "The snake" and for good reason. Very windy and dangerous for a big truck. Not sure it is even possible in a big truck.
