My Rand Mcnally gps just broke and now I am looking to get something new. Not so sure I want to spend $600 bucks on a new one. What do y'all use for your gps? Would love some ideas.

Rand McNally has 25% off sale on their website last week. You can buy TND 740 on eBay for $100-$150.

I use smart truck route 2 on an android tablet significantly cheaper than Garmin and it gets regular updates

Get a 5 inch Garmin 580 or the RM 5 inch 540 if you want to save some money over the super-duper do-everything models. To spend $600 you have to buy the tablet version that does dashcam and GPS and some other stuff. For $400 you can buy the 7 inch GPS only devices. Flip a coin between Garmin of RM. It will do the job, you will have some complaints. You will get used to it. Neither will change your life and solve the world's problems.Kurt Michaels Thanks this.

I will have to take a look at Copilot. A buddy of mine recommended it as well. I have a tablet in the truck I run an ELD with so I could just put it on that.

Smart truck route 2 is good on android. Similar to rand and support fixes issues. They have a number you can text and they will resolve your issue. Its subscription based though. Lime 130 bucks for 3 years
