Trucking can be stressful no matter who you work for. It's up to you to destress. You're the first one I've ever heard complain about Danny Herman. You have suggestions, call them and see what's up
FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
I don't have a home base. No apartment or family to visit. My dl has an Ohio address. Sometimes companies care, sometimes not.

There's always a first. Doesn't mean I'm wrong though.

Swift refrigeration?

Not saying you are. Point is, trucking is pretty much the same wherever you go. Dispatchers think they can tell everything from their seat. Shippers and receivers can be dicks and mess with your time because they know they have the power to do so. It's all in the driver and how they handle it.NavigatorWife and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

To sit 12 to 14 is too long. YOU will get messages saying call me or you will be called on your cell etc. You need to be moving at the end of your 8th or 10th hour.
There is not a trucker on this earth working for any company that has not been harassed for sitting too long. You should be thankful, what if you died in the sleeper or super sick.
One time I slept in to pay a sleep bill that has accumulated it was 15 hours before I had a meal and hydrated enough to put in a full day. That morning the dispatch was all about me, why was I not yet moving? I am not a robot and defending my position as a human being. Considering the work I had done the previous 10 days for them. Very profitable. They can spare 5 #### hours. That happened back in 98' with Dowdy and their dispatchers. The load of itself was NOT that important. 300 miles to run in two days to deliver. Essentially 48 hours. Be there in 6 and sit for two days? I think not. So I spent that day drifting towards the customer. Way early. That is a good position to be in. But not with dispatchers. -
You can turn a young pixie pony tail into a angry old hissy lady in 10 minutes when you watch a flirty trucker in flipflops and gut over the belt make a pass on the poor gal ahead of you in line.

Look into RBX, .44 Midwest no pressure
I get 2500 to 3000+
The runs aren't long but get loads in an hour or two and customers are good. -
